Globalization in Automobile Industry 2.2
Ford could be the last of the "big three" car companies based in the US. Industry Experts said for years that globalization would result in the consolidation of automakers. Manufacturers worked toward developing a "world car" but models did not sell well. Americans and Europeans vastly prefer different kinds of cars. Globalization has changed the automobile industry by allowing automakers to build global networks.
1. Americans are becoming more aware of fuel consumption.
2.Cultural differences create different needs and wants in a car.
